Assam is the one of the best states in India that located in the North East region and also serves as the gateway for the seven sister states. The land of Red River and blue hills has been named as Assam and it is world famed place for its nature beauty, hi-tech culture and all round socio economic circumstances by its name. Previously, Assam is identified as Pragjyotisha or Pragjyotishpura, and Kamarupa.
