Beaches in Goa


India is one of the best places to visit for your holidays. Goa is India’s smallest state and the fourth smallest in population. It is bounded by the state of Maharashtra to the north and by Karnataka to the east and south. Tourists from all over world get attracted to this place. Throughout all season we find crowds of tourist in this place. People from west take sun bath in this place. 

The best place to visit first is the Agonda Beach in Goa. Agonda Beach is perfect for those who love exciting time in water. The cool breeze and the warm sun can relieve you from stress. The beach is long and lonely and is surrounded by palms and a large hill to the south. The beach is lonely with no restaurants and stalls. There is nothing left here but the ocean and you. You can find yourself more attached to the nature.

The Agonda Beach is not safe for weak swimmers because of its strong underwater current. Here you can find few places to stay. There are some good restaurants around that serve sea food in the village.

Next is the Anjuna beach in Goa. This beach is famous for full moon parties. The party with dance and merriment goes all night beside the fire. It is just the right place for youngsters and holiday makers. There are plenty of guest house and couple of hotels around the village.

Next is the Calangute beach in Goa. This beach is known as the Queen of Beaches. The period from November to February is the right time to visit here. It is located 15 km from the capital city of Panjim.
      
People enjoy water sports here. It lies on the shore of Arabian Sea of North Goa in India. Excellent Accommodation facilities are available here. The beach is famous for its tourist resorts.

Next is the Dona Paula Beach in Goa. This beach is located just around 7 km from Panaji. This place is called the Lovers Paradise in Goa. The history goes that the beach is named after Dona Paula De Menses, daughter of a viceroy (in colonial India) who threw herself off the cliff, when refused permission to marry a local fisherman, Gasper Dias.

This beach has been the location for many Indian movies.  This beach is the spot to sun bath and relaxes. Jet Skiing is a very common sport at this beach. The water sports include water scooter rides and Motor boat rides. The Beach offers an opportunity to the tourists to have sunbath and buy cheap seaside goods from local vendors.

Not only beach the attractive place in Goa here you can enjoy the blend of water falls, dams and lakes. Pay a visit to all these places with your family and friends.
