The fabulous cable car rides in Singapore

The cable car ride presents bird’s eye view of Singapore city, the harbor and Sentosa Island. The views from the cable car are really lovely and clear. On a sunny day you can see quite far into the distance. The cable car of Singapore is about 1.6 kms of the span. Singapore cable car was the first cable car in Southeast Asia. The specialty of the car is that it crosses a port.

There are three stops like Mount Faber, Harbour Front Tower and Sentosa. These cable cars run daily from 8.30 am to 9 pm. There are two types of cars the normal and the glass ones. The glass ones are very costly. For those who are afraid of heights, please avoid the ride, since even the bottom of cable car is made of glass.

The cable car starts its way at Mt Faber and then it glides down to the World Trade Center. At the Mt Faber you can have a look at the nice koi pond and a beautiful outlook onto sentosa. During the ride you can listen to the recorded message to know the history of Singapore.

You can take a cable car from Mt Faber or Harbour Front. My suggestion is to buy a one way ticket and then get a free shuttle bus back to the city.

Keywords -  Sentosa Island, Mount Faber, Harbour Front Tower, Sentosa.
